Today the Government announced that London will be placed into Tier 2 of the local coronavirus restrictions after the national lockdown period ends next Wednesday. As a result, the Club will remain closed until at least Thursday 17th December – and possibly considerably longer.

As you may be aware, premises which do not serve “substantial meals” are unable to serve alcohol under the Government’s revised tier 2 restrictions. The Langham Club does not serve food of any kind – and to do so would be both impractical and uneconomic – therefore the Club will remain closed until London is placed into tier 1 of the restrictions.

More information about coronavirus tiered restrictions can be found here, and more information about which areas are in which tiers can be found here.

Rest assured that the Club is in a sound position financially and will re-open whenever allowed to do so by the Government . The Committee recognise that Members have not been able to enjoy the full benefit of Club membership in 2020 and will work to recognise this as part of the 2021 membership renewal process.

Whenever the Club is able to re-open, details will be posted on this website and the Langham Club Facebook Page. Until then, please take care of yourselves and each other.
